… with Ken Swanson

What better way to get to know your neighbors than to share the music they love? Each week, we ask someone in Greenwood to share their six-song set list of the music that moves them, body and soul.

In this week's guest Six-pack, here's what Ken Swanson (of Midway) is listening to…

I think everybody who ever lost at love can benefit by listening to
the simple honesty of Taj Mahal's "Giant Step".

Listen to the wonderful voice of Mara Gibb in Nilsson's "Perfect Day".
I can shed a tear, just for that bit of perfection!

Peggy Lee's version of "Is That All There Is" says just about everything
by saying almost nothing. So beautifully 'tongue in cheek'.

When the hurtin's over, the song "When She Loved Me" can be felt with a spirit now healed,
for it's true beauty, and simplicity.

"Under a Wandering Star" is my 'Swansong'; like Samuel Clemens,
who was born, and passed on with Halley's Comet, I have celestial roots!

Finally, "Feels Like Home" describes how any place where one can give love,
and be loved, is a true home, at least for the time that love is there.
