We're very pleased to welcome you to the pages of BeautifulGreenwood.com. While a great deal of work remains before we've completed even the basic website, we wanted to launch these preliminary pages in honour of Canada Day, and our very first Founders Day in our new hometown.
It's our hope that BeautifulGreenwood.com will grow to become an online journal of interest, and of service to all our neighbors. We're enthusiastic about creating a consolidated online presence for Greenwood -- one that will attract visitors from all over British Columbia, and well beyond.
Each week we'll publish new feature articles and regular profiles of our local businesses. We welcome other writers who would like to share their articles related to Greenwood. And, we'll keep a steady flow of engaging and entertaining content moving across these pages, covering many varied areas of interest.
Please be patient as we iron out a few remaining technical issues on browser compatibility. The site should now be running well in all versions of Firefox (Mozilla), but there may still be a bit of 'chop' for users running some older versions of Microsoft IE/OS. Feel free to contact us on that, or any subject that interests or concerns you: editor@beautifulgreenwood.com.
We hope you'll visit often, as we move through rapid site development following the Founders Day festivities. In short order, many content pages will be appearing under the navigation buttons in the right column. And look for the many new serial presentations and unique segments that will roll out on our homepage in the days ahead, on Greenwood culture, community, history and local happenings.
Happy Birthday, Greenwood!
